“Tales from the Bayou: An Evening with Donney Rose,” feeatures Donney Rose performing an excerpt of his forthcoming multimedia spoken word project titled "The American Audit" which uses the extended metaphor of America as a business being audited by Black Americans 400 years post the first slave settlement in Jamestown. Following the presentation, there will be a 30-minute moderated artist talk with the audience. This event is free and open to the public; seating is limited. The production contains mature language and situations. Tickets can be reserved through Eventbrite, but will expire at 4:55 p.m. Any non-reserved tickets are first-come, first-served basis beginning at 4:30 p.m.; the doors open at 4 p.m.
