View the evening sky at the UNI Observatory.   Constellations and other interesting objects in the night sky will be pointed out, and objects may also be viewed through the UNI telescope.  Meet before 9 PM outside of MSH 137, near the polar bear.  The event starts promptly and there is no admission for late arrivals.  Electronic devices, such as cameras, smart phones, etc, must not be used during the show.  No food, or drink is allowed.  This event is free and open to the public.

We will be letting the campus decide what movie to watch! Look for our social media for more details on how to help select the movie. Come join the Campus Activities Board to watch your favorite movie under the stars. Candy and drinks will be provided. Just bring your own car, friends, blankets and chairs.

To mark the American publication of her book “Forgiveness: An Exploration”, Marina Cantacuzino will be examining the fascinating and provocative subject of forgiveness using examples from the many people whose stories she has collected along the way. With a background in journalism, and as founder of The Forgiveness Project charity, Marina has spent the past 20 years unpicking and grappling with what it means to forgive. Difficult, costly and painful or powerfully redemptive?  Explore and discuss with Marina ion campus.

This registration is for program coordinators who plan to bring a group of high school students to UNI.

The TRIO/AVID Visit Day is designed for high school students who are part of a TRIO program such as Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound, or the AVID program. This comprehensive visit will provide students the opportunity to discover everything that UNI has to offer.

You'll hear from:

+ Current UNI students who participated in TRIO/AVID share their UNI experiences with you

+ UNI’s TRIO/AVID transition program: Panther Access, Connection, and Engagement (PACE) Program

+ Dedicated professors and staff who will highlight the possibilities and learning experiences found within your major of interest
