Bringing People into Environmental Conservation with Applied Social Science

Lex Winter is an Environmental Social Scientist with the Keller Science Action Center at the Field Museum in Chicago. In this presentation she will give an overview of the framework and methods used in interdisciplinary work that seeks to expand and enrich participation in environmental conservation. She will use a case study of how social science has been employed in conservation of the monarch butterfly.
