Carlton-Mellichamp Presentation: "Advancing Biliteracy for Less Commonly Taught Languages"

Natalie Tran, featured lecturer for this year's Carlton-Mellichamp Lecture in Education at the UNI College of Education, will address the issue of biliteracy for less commonly taught languages. A professor of educational leadership at California State Univerity, Fullerton, Tran's interests include diversity in higher education and dual-language immersion programs. She is also a heritage speaker of Vietnamese and serves as Director of the National Resource Center for Asian Languages.
