Coming Attractions! - the 38th Annual Scholarship Benefit Concert

Get ready for a celebration and join us for “Coming Attractions!” the 38th annual Scholarship Benefit Concert! The evening will be filled with exceptional performances by student and faculty musicians including the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, UNI Choirs, faculty artist Suzanne Hendrix-Case, mezzo-soprano, the UNI Women’s Chorus, faculty artist Randall Harlow, organ, “Saloon Music” by Bruce Broughton featuring Randy Grabowski, trumpet, with faculty and student musicians, and UNI Jazz Band One. Pre-concert music will be provided by the UNI Children’s Choir during our chocolate course served at 6:45 p.m., and the mainstage concert will be followed excellent hors d’oeuvres and champagne in the lobby with music provided by Bob Dunn, guitar, or step into Davis Hall for a showcase celebrating Walt Whitman on the 200th anniversary of his birthday. Coordinated by faculty artists Jonathan Schwabe and Christopher Merz, the showcase will feature School of Music students and faculty.
