Cybersecurity and 5G Technology

Former Ambassador John Dinger will be on campus on to give a talk about Cybersecurity and 5G Technology.

From 2006-2012, Ambassador Dinger was the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intelligence and Research in the U.S. State Department. In that role, he established the State Department's first Office of Cyber Affairs and was integral in helping to form basic principles to guide the new field of cyberspace diplomacy. 
During his distinguished career in the State Department, Mr. Dinger also served as Ambassador to Mongolia, and Deputy Coordinator for Counterterrorism, among other positions. He is an alumnus of UNI. 
At 5:00, he will also be speaking to the Model United Nations competition team about his experiences in the Foreign Service and U.S. foreign policy. That event will also take place in Sabin 25.
