Current UNI students who wish to live on-campus for the 2019-20 academic year can begin to select their room. (Students currently living off campus must have a completed housing contract to participate.) Students may reserve their room in any hall and select a meal plan. Priority reservation dates were distributed to students in October. Students can check the date and time of their individual priority reservation date by logging-in to the housing & dining contract. Priority reservation dates run through December 3.

A program to honor Panther veterans will be a time for reflection, camaraderie and support for those who are an essential part of the UNI family. The exhibit honoring UNI's service members and veterans will be on display through November. The photographs depict students, faculty, staff and their loved ones who have served our country in the United States Armed Forces.

Panelists Susan Hill, Lori Seawel, Victoria DeFrancisco, Jade Horning, Gloria Stafford and Christy Kessens will discuss some of the issues surrounding attendance, providing an opportunity to share the various ways and reasons we use or don't use attendance in grading and featuring a demonstration of the versatile Attendance tool within Blackboard. We will briefly review the research on class attendance and explore different strategies for handling attendance and talking with students about class engagement.
