The UNI School of Music presents its annual Vocal Arts Festival for high school student vocalists preparing for All-State competition and interested in vocal music at UNI. A concert will be held on Monday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall, GBPAC. This event does require registration. For more information, please contact John.Wiles@uni.edu.

Sunday at the Quarry

This year's theme is "The Earth Has A History." Learn about Iowa's natural resources and explore the idea that everyone is a miner. There will be tours of the quarry by faculty and alumni, as well as hands-on activities for youth through adults. This is a free family event. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring a rock hammer and a bag or bucket to collect some rocks.

Interfaith dinner @ ThreeHouse

Cedar Valley residents invited to engage with UNI students in conversation about interfaith understanding at a potluck supper. Bring a vegetarian dish to share, if possible. Parking is available on both sides of nearby streets (except College St.) and in municipal parking lots on College Hill.
