"2019 Department of Art Faculty Exhibition"

The "2019 Department of Art Faculty Exhibition" is a formal presentation of recent accomplishments by the faculty in the UNI Department of Art and includes painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, ceramics, photography, mixed media, performance and installation art as well as art history scholarship. The opening reception begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 in the Kamerick Art Building’s south lobby. All events are free and open to the public.

Intuitive Eating Workshop

Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

The intuitive eating workshop is a 4-week series that serves as a safe space for students to discuss their experiences among a small group of others who are interested in creating a new relationship with their mind, body and food. Discussion topics are centered around the 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating.

Guest Recital: Arnold Rawls, tenor

Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - 6:00 pm

Guest artist Arnold Rawls will present a voice recital with faculty pianist Korey Barrett. Rawls has delighted audiences with his unique combination of vocal and dramatic skills in performances ranging from art song to opera. Recent performances have included Mr. Rawls singing Calaf in Turandot and Manrico in Il Trovatore at the Metropolitan Opera, Radamès in Aida with Opera Australia (Sydney and Gold Coast) and the Pacific Symphony (Costa Mesa, CA), Don Josè in Carmen with the Bregenzer Festspiele (Austria). This event is free and open to the public.
