Physics Colloquium: Shashi Poddar, Ph.D., Materials Scientist - Nanostructured Devices: Techniques and Applications
Wednesday, September 30, 2020 - 4:00 pm
Shashi Poddar, Ph.D., Materials Scientist - Nanostructured devices are commonly used in the Internet of Things (IOT) which includes our smartphones and laptops, biomedical devices, reflective coatings, etc. They have now become an integral part of human civilization. In my presentation, I will talk about several interesting techniques of creating such nanostructured devices and a few important applications of these in photocathode physics, magnetoelectric sensors and anti-reflective coatings.
