Our "Learn to Cook" Workshops are aimed at exposing and teaching those in our community about the cultures and the dishes of some of our international students here on our campus. To celebrate IEW, we are showcasing two different international students and some of their favorite foods from home. Sign-up is required and can be found by scanning the barcode on the poster, found on our site.
Head down to the State Room in Maucker Union to watch Nino show us how to make Badrijani Nigvzit and learn more about Georgian Food! You will even be able to sample this wonderful recipe along with chatting and leanring about Nino and her home country. Sign up is required and we hope to see you there!
"What Your Students Want You to Know" is a panel hosted by the CETL in celebration and recognition of International Education Week. This is aimed at letting faculty and staff know more about student opinions, experiences, and thoughts, especially surrounding their international experience.
Taste of Culture is a well known and traditional event that our offices have been hosting for International Education Week and is one of the many highlights of our week. At the event, international students will be tabling in representation of their countries and sharing their cultures to all that attend! Performances, fun, and food are all included and all are welcome!
This is one of our most popular events and this year is no different! Come and join the Office of International Engagement explore over 15 different countries in two hours at our "Taste of Culture" event! Explore different cultures, chat with our students, and eat delicious food from around the world! We also will be having numerous performances throughout the two hours, so make sure to come ready to learn, engage and have FUN!
This panel is hosted by the Office of International Engagement in combination with the PeaceCorps, faculty, and staff. Here, students will not only be able to hear about various stories from PeaceCorps veterans, but also find out what opportunities they have after graduation at UNI.
