In the Mary Haskell-Hansen Room. A UNI Permanent Art Collection exhibition co-curated by Art History instructor Josh Hainy and Gallery Director Darrell Taylor featuring female-identifying artists, indigenous artists, and artists of color such as Dawoud Bey, Russell T. Gordon, Marion Greenwood, Lee Krasner, Doña Rosa (or Rosa Real Mateo de Nieto), Melanie Walker, Marguerite Wildenhain, and Betty Woodman. All events are free and open to the public. We encourage the wearing of masks and social-distancing while in the Gallery. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and by appointment.

Opening Reception: 5 p.m., Wed., Jan. 26, Kamerick Art Building (KAB) south lobby. The exhibition is a formal presentation of recent accomplishments by the faculty in the UNI Department of Art and includes painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, photography, video, mixed media, and installation art as well as art history scholarship. All events are free and open to the public. We encourage the wearing of masks and social-distancing while in the Gallery. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and by appointment.

Join fellow graduate students in the Spring 2022 graduate writing series! This series will provide workshops on topics to aid in the completion of your culminating project (thesis and non-thesis or research project). It is recommended students attend all sessions and become a part of this graduate writing community. Students at all stages of their program are welcome to attend.
Join a group of graduate students, peer mentors, and library support for an hour of dedicated working time on your project.
The series will take place in-person and will not be recorded. Zoom options may be available depending on interest, please opt-in to receive a link.

Julie Heiple, Senior Systems Analyst/BI at IT-Administrative Information Systems, is retiring this February. Julie has been the cornerstone of the current BI reporting Team and a long-term employee at UNI. She worked for fifteen years at the Admissions Office before joining ITS in November 1996. As a tribute, the BI-Team/IT-AIS department is hosting a retirement reception to honor and appreciate a great person.
Save the date: Please help us celebrate Julie Heiple's retirement from UNI! The reception will be Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the ITTC 2nd floor open area (formerly East Gym swimming pool area). Inclement weather date Friday, February 18th (same time and location).
