Earth Week Campus Cleanup

Earth Week Campus Cleanup

There will be a Cleanup for UNI April 21st from 5-6pm. We'll meet at the UNI Tennis Complex. Afterwards, join us on The Hill for pizza at Chad's Pizza. Everyone will receive gloves and plastic bags. It is encouraged that everyone wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty!

Donut Stress Event

Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) will be hosting a Donut Stress Event on Thursday, April 21 between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM in Schindler Education Center room 217. Stop by to enjoy the following stress-relieving activities: 

  • Decorate your own donut 

  • Bracelet Making  

  • Coloring

  • Notes of Gratitude 

Participants will also have the opportunity to win some sweet prizes! The first 24 people to come will receive a free donut stress ball. There will also be a raffle for 3 prizes! The three prizes are a gift card to Dunkin Donuts, a gift card to Hurts Donuts, and a weighted blanket.

Inspired by true stories from Flint, Michigan and Cape Town, Africa, Day Zero is an apocalyptic romance detailing the lives of two teenagers living in the city of Fen as they count down to Day Zero: the day water runs out. Desperate to survive, Darya and Kai meet. Romance blossoms, as they devise a plot to stave off Day Zero.

Observatory Show

Observatory Show

Thursday, April 21, 2022 - 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm

View the evening sky at the UNI Observatory.   Constellations and other interesting objects in the night sky will be pointed out, and objects may also be viewed through the UNI telescope.  Meet before 9 PM outside of MSH 137, near the polar bear.  The event starts promptly and there is no admission for late arrivals.  Electronic devices, such as cameras, smart phones, etc, must not be used during the show.  No food, or drink is allowed.  Masks are encouraged, particularly while inside of the observatory.  This event is free and open to the public.
