There will be an opening reception on Wed., Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. following a public lecture by James Ewald, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design, Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Ewald’s lecture titled “Triple Double: Independent Publishing, Sensory Experiences, and Visual Narratives” will take place in KAB 111. In addition to Ewald, exhibitors include the following: Jessica Barness, UNI alumna and Associate Professor in the School of Visual Communication Design at Kent State University; Soo Hostetler, UNI Associate Professor of Art in Graphic Design; Riva Nayaju, UNI Assistant Professor of Art in Graphic Design; and Dr. Sang-Duck Seo, Professor in Graphic Design and Media at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Postaward Project Management - RSP Training Series

Part of the RSP training series - You’ve been funded – now what? This Zoom session will cover all aspects of postaward project management, and the paperwork needed, from project start until project end. Registration is required.
QPR is a nationally recognized suicide prevention gatekeeper training. This training is for the UNI campus community and helps all participants become knowledgeable in helping prevent a potential suicide.
In this 90 minute training you will learn:
How to recognize the warning signs of suicide
How to ask if someone is feeling or thinking about suicide
How to encourage them to get help
How to refer that person to the right support and care
The Safe Zone Ally program is designed to identify and train community members interested in supporting the continued growth of an inclusive campus community. This program supports the university's value of cultivating a caring and diverse campus community that values respect for all people, the open and free exchange of ideas, and responsible and ethical behavior. This program is not an LGBTQ+ 101 training, but instead an opportunity for those interested in supporting our community.
Orchestrating Change is a film about the world's only orchestra for people living with mental illness. Rod Library is partnering with Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, School of Music and the WCF Symphony Orchestra. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for various events in the lobby.
