"Through the Lens of a Panther" Project

Submit a photo from campus for “Through the Lens of a Panther,” Green Dot’s new project. Staff, faculty and students are encouraged to submit a photo that they have taken on campus and answer, “What does community look like to you?” Please submit 2-3 sentences describing the photo’s meaning to conclude your submission. Leader in Me Workshop

Leader in Me Workshop

Pre-service teachers can hone their leadership skills and earn a certificate with the Leader In Me Workshop planned on Saturday, April 15 from 8 a.m. to noon in SEC 220. Led by Leader Valley, part of Grow Cedar Valley, and hosted by the College of Education, the workshop offers future educators a look into what it means to be a leader in school and an effective teacher. There are currently 26 Leader in Me K-12 schools in the Cedar Valley. Registration is limited to the first 125 applicants. Guest Recital: Iowa Guitar Quartet

Saturday, April 15, 2023 - 6:00 pm

Visiting artists the Iowa Guitar Quartet will offer a recital. The Iowa Guitar Quartet was formed by its members in 2016 as an outgrowth of their involvement with the Heart of Iowa Classical Guitar Society. Based in the Des Moines area, and featuring members Steven Kennedy, David Crabbs, Dave Reynolds and Thomas Finn, IGQ has performed in many venues and college campuses across the state of Iowa. The quartet will also present a master class on April 15 in Jebe Hall at 2 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
