Submit a photo from campus for “Through the Lens of a Panther,” Green Dot’s new project. Staff, faculty and students are encouraged to submit a photo that they have taken on campus and answer, “What does community look like to you?” Please submit 2-3 sentences describing the photo’s meaning to conclude your submission. Green Dot will be collecting photos now through Sunday, April 30. For additional information or submission, emails can be directed to greendot@uni.edu.

The Safe Zone Ally program is designed to identify and train community members interested in supporting the continued growth of an inclusive campus community. This program supports the university's value of cultivating a caring and diverse campus community that values respect for all people, the open and free exchange of ideas, and responsible and ethical behavior. This program is not an LGBTQ+ 101 training, but instead an opportunity for those interested in supporting our community.

QPR TrainingQPR Training

QPR is a nationally recognized suicide prevention gatekeeper training. This training is for the UNI campus community and helps all participants become knowledgeable in helping prevent a potential suicide.
In this 90-minute training you will learn:
- How to recognize the warning signs of suicide
- How to ask if someone is feeling or thinking about suicide
- How to encourage them to get help
- How to refer that person to the right support and care
