6:00pm	UNI VA PTSD Awareness 3k Run/Walk UNI VA PTSD Awareness 3k Run/Walk Thursday, September 7, 2023 - 6:00 pm The UNI VA is proud to host the PTSD Awareness 3K Run/Walk. There will be activities including games and the opportunity to place a luminary bag on the track in memory of someone who has suffered or is suffering from the effects of PTSD. The event will be hosted on the UNI campus at the Mark Messersmith outdoor track and field complex by Nielson Field House at 19th Street and Hudson Road in Cedar Falls, IA. 9:00pm	Observatory Show Observatory Show Thursday, September 7, 2023 - 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm View the evening sky at the UNI Observatory. Constellations and other interesting objects in the night sky will be pointed out, and objects may also be viewed through the UNI telescope. Meet before 9 p.m. outside of MSH 137, near the polar bear. The event starts promptly and there is no admission for late arrivals. Electronic devices, such as cameras, smart phones, etc, must not be used during the show. No food, or drink is allowed. This event is free and open to the public.
