Green Dot Trauma Responsive Yoga (TRY) SessionGreen Dot Trauma Responsive Yoga (TRY) Session
Thursday, September 28, 2023 - 9:00 am
Join Cathryn Baumgartner, LMSW for a short informational and practice session of Trauma Responsive Yoga. This session will include a short information session on Trauma Responsive Yoga and a 30-minute practice session for you to get a feel for TRY.
The group structure is relatively small, 10 participants or less and with minimal requirements for physical fitness. Yoga mats are provided, wear comfortable clothing and no experience is required.

Join the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning for a moderated conversation about our institutional and individual responsibilities for implementing accommodations. This session is designed to surface and address concerns, and to help us respond efficiently, thoughtfully and confidently upon receiving accommodation letters. The panel will unpack the legal and practical dimensions of this function, and explore some ways our colleagues are navigating the challenges.

Observatory ShowObservatory Show

View the evening sky at the UNI Observatory. Constellations and other interesting objects in the night sky will be pointed out, and objects may also be viewed through the UNI telescope. Meet before 9 p.m. outside of MSH 137, near the polar bear. The event starts promptly and there is no admission for late arrivals. Electronic devices, such as cameras, smart phones, etc, must not be used during the show. No food, or drink is allowed. This event is free and open to the public.
