This registration is for program coordinators who plan to bring a group of high school students to UNI.

The GEAR UP Visit Day is designed for high school students who are part of a GEAR UP program. This comprehensive visit will provide students the opportunity to discover everything that UNI has to offer.

You'll hear from:

  • Current UNI students who will share their UNI experiences with you
  • UNI’s transition program: Panther Access, Connection, and Engagement (PACE) Program
  • Dedicated professors and staff who will highlight the possibilities and learning experiences found within your major of interest
  • Admissions counselors who will cover how to apply and what automatic scholarships you may be eligible for
  • And more

Finals are coming up and it's a perfect time to come to Active Minds' Stress Less event. Panther Tabletop Games will be in attendance for card and board games. Morency is the author of the debut novel, The Island Sisters (BHC Press). Stacy Hawkins Adams says Morency’s writing “leaves you rooting for her characters as if they're your kin. Her vivid prose paints an unforgettable portrait of Haitian culture and customs, while imparting wisdom and gripping your heart.”

Observatory Show

Observatory Show

Thursday, April 25, 2024 - 9:00 pm to 9:45 pm

View the evening sky at the UNI Observatory.   Constellations and other interesting objects in the night sky will be pointed out, and objects may also be viewed through the UNI telescope.  Meet before 9 PM outside of MSH 137, near the polar bear.  The event starts promptly and there is no admission for late arrivals.  Electronic devices, such as cameras, smart phones, etc, must not be used during the show.  No food, or drink is allowed.  This event is free and open to the public.
