DO YOU KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOR?

Join Keynote Speaker, Diana Patton on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm in Maucker Ballroom (B)

How well do you know your teacher, fellow students, coworker, teammate, and roommate ... well, your neighbor? The more you know someone, the more you understand them, and learn why they do what they do. Most of us don't know the person we sit right next to every single day, or even the person that lives right across from us. Sadly, that results in a lack of connection, acceptance, confidence, and even a feeling of safety.

Diana Patton, national speaker, attorney, consultant, author will ask, “Do You Know Your Neighbor?” Diana will share her remarkable story, as told in her memoir, Inspiration in My Shoes, and provide her perspective on the journey of diversity and inclusion, and how our own unconscious biases can impact our ability to get to know one other.

Diana will also share how getting to know others has impacted her career, her struggles, and her success. She'll share the five steps we all can take to get to know our neighbor, so that we can thrive in our communities by building relationships.

**Diana will host a book signing opportunity immediately following Diana's presentation from 8:00-8:30**
