The purpose of the mini-summit is to provide community conversations between medical professionals, social workers, and the general public as they explore and share experiences with end-of-life care. Each of these groups offer a unique perspective of relieving and lessening pain in someone with a life-limiting condition. The mini-summit will also provide compassion and empathy for others as they cope and experience grief and loss.
