Welcome to the UNI Community Horn Choir!

The UNI Community Horn Choir is an ensemble for all horn enthusiasts at any age and ability. This ensemble is directed by UNI School of Music Horn Instructor, Dr. Maddy Tarantelli. Members can expect to play a variety of horn repertoire while developing their horn sound and musical literacy. Dr. Tarantelli focuses on providing space for members to learn to play with ease, make beautiful sounds, learn technique to best serve the music, and create community. 

The Community Horn Choir will meet on the first Saturday of the month from 10-11:30am at the University of Northern Iowa.

Fall Semester

• Rehearsals will meet monthly from 10-11:30am at the University of Northern Iowa
• Rehearsal dates: 
  • September 7 (Davis Hall, Gallagher Bluedorn)
  • December 7 (Davis Hall, Gallagher Bluedorn)
  • October 5 (Graham Recital Hall, Russell Hall)
  • November 2 (Davis Hall, Gallagher Bluedorn)
• Dress Rehearsal: November 17, 3:00 - 4:30pm (Davis Hall, Gallagher Bluedorn)
• Performance: Horn Studio Recital, November 20th at 7:30pm (Davis Hall, Gallagher Bluedorn)

Spring Semester
