Paddle under the enchanting glow of the pink moon at Big Woods Lake in Cedar Falls. This beginner-friendly canoe trip is short, sweet and oh-so-magical. As you glide through the serene night, you may become addicted to moonlit paddling – side effects include blissful grins!

If you would like transportation to Big Woods, arrive at the Wellness & Recreation Center by 7 p.m. for paddle and lifejacket fitting. If you are driving separately, arrive at Big Wood by 7:15 p.m. There will be extra paddles, lifejackets and headlamps if you drive yourself. Paddling will go until around 9:45 p.m., and the group will return to the WRC by 10:30 p.m.
