Department Photos and Closing Remarks

Guests - What to expect?  Presenting at the Symposium is the final activity after 10 weeks of preparation. Approximately 40 UNI students from a variety of STEM majors will present large format posters of their summer research projects. Students are prepared to describe and discuss their projects and answer questions. Posters are loosely organized by major/subjects. Visitors are not expected to talk to students at every poster, rather stop at the posters which are of interest to you! You do not need to have a background in the subject area to discuss a project with the author. In fact, our students gain valuable experience from talking with many people of varying degrees of prior knowledge about their topic.
