Guest Recital: Marissa Benedict, trumpet
Visiting artist Marissa Benedict will present a trumpet recital. Benedict is the Associate Professor of trumpet at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. With a distinguished 35-year career as a performer and educator in Los Angeles, she continues her active performance schedule with the Minnesota Orchestra and freelancing in the Minneapolis area. Recently, she released the album Continental Shift (EP). This event is free and open to the public.
