Final Thursday Reading Series featuring Brooke Wonders

The Final Thursday Reading Series returns for its 21st season at the Hearst Center for the Arts in Cedar Falls with featured authors whose work ranges from memoirs to novels to children’s books to graphic novels.

On August 26, FTRS will feature Brooke Wonders, an Associate Professor of English at UNI. Wonder is the author of the memoir-in-progess, Self-Erasure, and co-author of the video game Heloise & Wulf.  This will be an outdoor event held in the Hearst Center Sculpture Garden. It begins at 6:00 with a creative writing open mic. Attendees are invited to share up to five minutes of original fiction, poetry or creative nonfiction. Wonders takes the mic at 6:30.
