Freedom Rides: The Creation and Development of the MLK Freedom Bus Tour

Wednesday, February 15, 2023 - 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

This talk is a Black History Month event and part of the Phi Alpha Theta lecture series, put on by the Department of History. Rev. Abraham Funchess, the pastor of Jubilee United Methodist Church and Director of the Waterloo Commission on Civil Rights, will present: "Freedom Rides:  The Creation and Development of the MLK Freedom Bus Tour".

The lecture will be held in Seerley Hall; we will announce the room location closer to the event. We encourage students, staff, and faculty to attend.

This event is also free and open to the public.
