"B.F.A. Group Exhibition"

Thursday, December 5, 2019 - 7:00 pm to Thursday, December 19, 2019 - 7:00 pm

Opening Reception: Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. The following students are pursuing Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in their respective emphasis areas and are exhibiting new artwork to fulfill graduation requirements: Allie Christisen of Bettendorf, IA, will present a printmaking exhibition titled "Not Gross: An Exhibition of Self-Portraits"; Andrew P. Dickerson of West Des Moines, IA, will present a photo exhibition titled "Something More"; Abigail Rose Hedley of Dubuque, IA, will present a sculpture exhibition titled "Dwelling"; Rachel Kopriva of Traer, IA, will present a painting exhibition titled "Impressions"; Whitney McGill of Merrillville, IN, will present a painting exhibition titled "Our Hair is our Crown"; and Joel Wisner of Mason City, IA, will present an exhibition of drawing and printmaking titled "Feeds." All events are free and open to the public.

Donate any used greeting cards Dec. 10 to Jan. 15 to be recycled into holiday gifts, décor and more. All donations will go to St. Jude’s Hospital. Drop boxes are located in Maucker Union's main office, the WRC front desk, Rod Library entryway, the Schindler Education Center lobby, the Gilchrist Hall lobby and the CEEE atrium.

Do finals have you stressed? If so, de-stress during finals week and take a break with some furry friends! Take a break. Dogs and cats that specialize in relieving human concerns will be "on-hand" from P.E.T.P.A.L.S. Draw on or leave a comment on the graffiti wall for other students to enjoy and read Dec. 9-17.

The greatest worst movie ever made, Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" is one the most unintentionally hilarious movies of all time. The Film Appreciation Club will host a screening of the cult classic.
