Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the premiere of Igor Stravinsky's landmark composition with the UNI Faculty Septet and guest narrators, actors, and dancers. First performed in Lausanne, Switzerland on September 28, 1918, the work was conceived by Stravinsky and Swiss author C. F. Ramuz, who wrote the text. The Soldier's Tale is a reflection of post-war Europe and is based on a Russian folk tale about a soldier who trades his soul to the Devil in exchange for wealth. This event is ticketed.
