The Clothesline Project virtual t-shirt submissionsThe Clothesline Project virtual t-shirt submissions
Monday, October 12, 2020 - 12:00 am to Friday, October 16, 2020 - 12:00 am
Each year the Women's and Gender Studies Program hosts The Clothesline Project in conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Clothesline Project is an interactive event that raises awareness for violence against women, the LGBTQ+ community, and other marginalized populations. Members of campus and greater community who have been affected by violence, be it first-hand or otherwise, are invited to decorate a shirt with their thoughts, feelings and supportive messages surrounding the topic of relationship violence or sexual assault. This year, t-shirt decorations will be virtual with a video of all decorated t-shirts released on the day of Bearing Witness. You can decorate by saving a t-shirt from our Facebook event or https://csbs.uni.edu/womenstudies/clothesline-project. Once you have created your virtual t-shirt, send it to WGS by emailing it to wgs@uni.edu. All submissions will remain anonymous.
