Addressing the Mixed-Level Class: Techniques to Ensure Equal English Language Learning Opportunities

The mixed-proficiency level class is a universal phenomenon that directly affects students' participation and achievement in the language classroom worldwide. Unfortunately, many are the language teachers who struggle to provide students with equal learning opportunities despite the disparity in the students’ language proficiencies. Consequently, finding ways to successfully address this issue is a day-to-day challenge. With this interest in mind, the presenter will share techniques to ensure equal learning opportunities. The presenter will share a brief description of each strategy. At the end of the webinar, participants will discuss the practicality and feasibility of the techniques in their contexts.
