Live Screening: "Romeo and Juliet"Live Screening: "Romeo and Juliet"
Wednesday, February 24, 2021 - 7:00 pm
TheatreUNI is screening an enhanced staged reading of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
This production was originally planned for April of 2020 , but had to be suspended due to the pandemic. While it was not possible to produce a fully-staged version, we were able to convert the production into a spirited staged reading which brings to life the rich and beautiful language of the text. Preview the performance through a number of clips found at https://theatreunivirtualfestival.uni.edu/.
We will screen the finished product at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24 in the Strayer-Wood Theatre. Socially-distanced seating can be requested through this form. Act now to join in for the official launch of this project!
