Anyone is available to purchase a selection of teas from the Tea Cellar or Coffee from Fat Cup Roasters and a portion of the proceeds will be given to the Wishmakers to grant a wish for a child with a Chronic Illness. Just follow the link and be sure to select "Northern Iowa WIshmakers" to choose from a selection of hand-picked teas to be delivered to you or picked up at the store! If tea isn't your thing but you're still interested in helping, there is a donate button as well with a downloadable PDF for tax exemptions!

An Evening With Martín Espada

Join acclaimed Puerto Rican poet Martín Espada for a reading from his new collection of poems, Floaters, co-sponsored by the North American Review and the Department of Languages & Literatures at the University of Northern Iowa. NAR editor and UNI Professor of English Jeremy Schraffenberger will moderate.

Martín Espada has published more than twenty books as a poet, editor, essayist, and translator, including Vivas to Those Who Have Failed, The Trouble Ball, Alabanza and Pulitzer finalist The Republic of Poetry. His many honors include the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize, the Shelley Memorial Award, an Academy of American Poets Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Born in Brooklyn, he now teaches at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
