Opening Reception: Apr. 29 at 7 p.m. The following students are pursuing Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in their respective emphasis areas and are exhibiting new artwork to fulfill graduation requirements: multidisciplinary artist Anastasia Chloe, painters Deo Rai and Emily Michelle Schroeder, and sculptor Hanna Seggerman. Concurrently, the Gallery will present "M.A. Art Education Candidates’ Visual Timelines" in the Showcases and ZigZag Cases in the KAB South lobby. These visual timelines document classwork and applied research completed by the Art Education cohort of 2019. All events are free and open to the public.

Science of Coaching Conference is an opportunity for youth sports coaches in the Cedar Valley area to learn from experts in the field and in the classroom. Austin Wasserman is the keynote speaker, and will be joined by a panel of Division I collegiate coaches. Afternoon sessions focus on strength and conditioning development for youth; practice plan designs; designing dynamic warm-ups; instructional strategies for motivation; and feedback and instruction for performance excellence.  Lunch included. Paid registration; discount for students seeking coaching minors.
